Liverpool Philharmonic is one of the most prestigious music organisations in the UK and sits right at the heart of Liverpool cultural life. Since 2015, we have worked closely with the team at ‘the Phil’, building and maintaining their digital offering.
Our initial brief was to re-develop liverpoolphil.com and to give it a new look befitting of such a forward thinking organisation. Working alongside Manchester based agency, Music, we created a website that is intuitive, streamlined and focused on giving users a great experience, regardless of their device.
Liverpool Philharmonic Hall hosts over 250 events each year, ranging from classical and contemporary to jazz and comedy. With a wide range of target audiences, both young and old, it was imperative that navigating through the website was as straightforward as possible for all users, reflecting the inclusivity of the Liverpool Philharmonic organisation.
Putting user experience first, the website has a simplified and functional navigation which, combined with an interactive calendar, enables users to browse seamlessly and find events in a matter of seconds. Our focus was on putting the fun back into purchasing tickets for your favourite artist, orchestra or event.
We gave the team at Liverpool Philharmonic a new content management solution, Prismic, that is perfect for rapidly creating events, articles and news items. Within Prismic, we set up a number of bespoke content slices that allow the Liverpool Philharmonic to easily build up new content on the fly.
