We make change

Website Development

Working alongside Dutch design agency, The Brave New Now, we developed a playful but informative website for a building full of life, energy and colour.

Ven is a unique complex on the outskirts of Amsterdam. A place where past meets the future, work meets play and opportunity meets possibility. The building had been empty for years until someone had the vision to transform it into a vibrant global hub.

Working alongside The Brave New Now, Anything developed an eye-catching responsive website as part of a wide reaching, multi-channel campaign. Everything was designed to reflect the vibrancy of the development, from the Pery Burge image on the landing page that responds to your cursor’s movements, to the playful gallery that showcases the facilities available.

Ven’s positioning as a 24/7 business and entertainment complex was something we felt should run through the website, so we incorporated a clock that listed real-time events happening at the venue. Depending on the time of day, it would direct you to the gym, the restaurant or the roof-top bar (if it was after 6pm).

With Ven being situated in a vibrant, up-and-coming part of Amsterdam, we also integrated Google Maps to show exactly what was going on in the area. Three separate tabs helped users navigate through: Ven’s location; local attractions a short walk from the building; and points of interest in the wider Amsterdam area.

We are delighted with anything’s outstanding work on the Ven website. The site was a key element in the overall launch of this new brand and it had to deliver on many levels. anything succeeded in producing a site that truly showcases Ven’s ever-changing experience. They are true partners who are genuinely enthusiastic about achieving the best results and manage to make a complex process feel fast and simple. I would recommend them to anyone. They are one talented team.
