The Brief

With the objective of becoming the first $1 billion global brand in the meat-free category, Quorn knew that effective brand communication would play a crucial role. That meant launching new websites in both existing markets and new markets as quickly and efficiently as possible.

The Insight/Idea

Workshops, interviews and extensive planning sessions allowed us to identify any existing pain points and to design an architecture that could overcome them whilst providing a future-proof, scalable solution.

By developing a single codebase, and using Contentful as the CMS, the Quorn team were able to work on multiple websites at once. The ability to populate content well in advance of working on design and development allowed the team to rapidly roll-out content across markets.

Developing from a single codebase also meant that new fields could easily be switched on or off, depending on the specific requirements of the market.

The Outcome

Through partnering with Anything, Quorn launched 21 new websites in less than three months including websites for the newer Southeast Asia markets.

The new set-up has given the team at Quorn the tools and the confidence to regularly add new content—recipes, product launches, cooking videos and useful tips. As a result, the site feels alive and energised and somewhere that new and existing customers alike want to return to.

Thanks to a consistent, mobile-first approach to markets, the team saw the following average year-on-year comparison before and after launch:

21 International websites launched in less than three months
36% Average increase in organic traffic across key markets
59% Average increase in mobile organic sessions across key markets
38% Decrease in page load times across key markets

Quorn needed to modernise our digital presence as part of the brand refresh to ensure it has broader appeal. We also needed a new digital platform that enables us to develop all our digital communications globally, Anything have helped us shape our digital strategy and delivered a platform that is integral to our digital transformation and reflects our future vision for the brand.
