We make happy
We’ve been Netmums’ digital agency for over eight years, and each year has seen us make things newer, bigger, faster and smarter.
Like babies, websites start small. And just like babies they can grow pretty quickly. In 2010, when we first started working with Netmums, we had no idea how rapidly they would grow or that they’d become the UK’s biggest parenting website. We had no idea how quickly we’d have to react, how much we’d need to learn or how much time we’d spend scratching our heads. But eight years on we’re still here for each other so we must know a trick or two.
A highly optimised site was at the heart of our solution – not just something that could deal with the traffic but was also responsive enough to incorporate new features quickly and easily. We also put a lot of innovative thinking into the site; new ideas and industry firsts that Netmums trusted us to implement, such as being the first parenting brand to launch with Google Amp.
It’s been far from plain sailing – it’s been testing at many times (and, yes, we’ve had more than our fair share of sleepless nights). But between us we’ve always found a way through, and for all the time and effort we put into their website, it’s perhaps the relationship we’ve built with the Netmums team that we’re most proud of.
It feels like there isn't much we haven't done with Netmums over the years, but a few of the highlights have been the Coffeehouse, their online forum which sees over 230,000 new posts each month; Netmums Reviews, a space where baby products are reviewed by mums for mums; and SeeSaw, a family-friendly app with over 140,000 local activities to keep everyone entertained.
Their main site now experiences 30 million hits each month and works flawlessly across all devices. And we built it with Prismic, an intuitive CMS that is ideal for editorial sites like netmums and makes their life infinitely easier.
Not only has this allowed us to demonstrate our knowledge and skills to a host of new clients, it’s also given us the opportunity to work in partnership with similar, likeminded brands such as Netflix, Lego, Boots and Aldi.
We’ve more projects coming soon, more ideas that push the boundaries and make us raise our standards. It’s not easy this digital lark, but it is rewarding.
Netmums.com is the definition of a high traffic website. With 30 million monthly page views and 7 million monthly unique visitors, it just keeps on growing.
Netmums Reviews is a space where baby products are reviewed by mums for mums. With over 400 brands involved, it’s easy to see why so many mums place their trust in Netmums product reviews.
Our relationship with Netmums has provided us with the opportunity to work with likeminded brands such as Netflix, Lego and Aldi. All of these relationships have one thing in common, they succeed.
Our family friendly App, SeeSaw, was featured in the Apple App Store gaining around seven million impressions in the process. SeeSaw is perfect for finding family friendly activities wherever you are in the UK.
Anything bring together a unique blend of creativity, tech know-how and smart innovation. Mark and Jono lead a fantastic team who are integral to the continued success of Netmums and helping us define the right approach, each time, every time.
